Photographer’s Note
It's getting very chilly in my corner of the world, the trees are becoming bare in just the last few days.

Hi Karen,
Excellent and beautiful colours again. This time the tracks contribute to the composition with the curve through the motive.

Bonjour Karen
Pas de doute, l'automne est une époque bénie au Canada pour les merveilleuses couleurs qu'elle offre et dont tu nous fais profiter. Les rails conduisent bien le regard jusqu'à l'horizon.
Merci pour le partage et bonne journée.

hi Karen,
yes, it's getting colder and colder, and your photos are getting more and more saturated :) love the rich red and ocher, and the curve of the railroad is a great way to lead the eye through this autumn shot. but it seems that the compression of the file to TE size has added some artifacts around the edges of the trees in the background. minor point though, since the colours are pretty overwhelming :)
best,
Kristine

Karen Hi:
Fantastic use of the rails to lead our eyes into the beautful colors of Autumn. Amazing dof and you are correct your Autumn colors seem to be fading very very quickly.
Congratulations, very nicely composed and presented

Hello Karen,
Not only do the rails - dividing the picture by their gentle curve - dominate this composition, the rust on their sides also matches the nature perfectly. The rails disappearing behind the bend evoke the feeling of excitement of travelling. There is a very strong atmosphere to this picture.
Kindest regards,
Gert

Hello Karen,
You have very well captured the graceful curve of the railroad track. Sharp clear light reveals warm contrasting colors and varying textures in this lovely autumn landscape.

Hi Karen,
a lovely autumn capture full of typical colours and good depth by the railroad. But may I ask for a bit higher aperture to achieve some more depth in the background? The shadow lines of the grass on the track itself are very nice as they are so strong.

Hello Karen,
A splendid perspective along this railway track, whose rusty rails complements the autumn foliage. Lovely warm colours. The background seems slightly out of focus to me compared to the foreground.

Hello Karen!
The autumnal colors are beautiful as always, but what mostly impressed me in this one was the composition with the railway! I liked it very much, very attractive!

hello Karen
As I follow your journey into autumn color, by early November, I cannot imagine how the colors will be stronger and impressive than this, perhaps by then leaves will drop?
This is a fantastic view and using the rail tracks for a separation of the sides to this scenery makes a good composition for lead-in.
That green roof at end of rail is a church?

hello karen
some fine reds in this one and the rusty rail perspective plays out nicely. just, um... f/7.1 seems way to wide here (the DOF is shallow).
i know what you mean about that 'becoming bare' in just a few days... i hope i get some sunshine (and time) to shoot the colors here before the trees turn bare.
warm regards

Hi Karen,
love the perspective and saturation in this one.
Colorful and moody shot, perfectly depicting Fall.
The compression might have caused some artifacts in the sky and around the background trees, but don't take it as a criticism. That's not the way I look at pictures. The overall view & feeling is what really counts to me, and I more than like what I see.
Have a wonderful day, thanks for sharing!
See ya soon,
Fulvio.

Hello Karen,
It is a pity a display like this only lasts for some days each year!
The rusty rails match nature well and create fine lines in the composition...
The warm afternoon light adds to the beauty of the scene!

My dear Karen, is not whether the tones produced by the autumn season, are this intense or there is some over-saturation in them, particularly the reds. In making believe he needs some definition, but otherwise I like the point of view, where the train derailed us get into the scene.

Hi Karen,
You have an impressive collection of Autumn shots! I really like the way this season present in your part of the province. This image is very good. The rails starting from the corner give the image more dynamics. Good saturation though I think the image is too soft. Nice work Karen :-)

Hello Karen
The rails made for a good starting point and added depth...I also like the saturated colors and light, but it seems its lacks a bit of sharpness...
