Photographer’s Note
Now as the day comes closer for the 4 day grand festival to start..people are all taking away their Idols of Goddess Durga to the respective places where she will be worshipped for 4 days.
This was a typical scene from Kumortuli where people were loading their idols in trucks and speeding away..I just tried to take panning shot of such a truck rushing away amidst absolutely crowded streets with thousands of people making their way into that very very small and ghingy location.
I have tried to depict the rush which people have to celebrate in this part of the country..thru this effort of mine..!!
I hope u enjoy this one..!!!

Excellent motion effect. This image is very nice because is sharp and its colours seem very natural. The subject show the cultural and religious elements of this society. excellent composition showing good details. Thanks Indranil :-)

A brilliant frame ! It is also making me very homesick, dying to hear the "dhaak" ! Have a great Durga Pujo !

Indranil: oh, man, thankfully I have some green points remaining today - because this one excels and propels. Probably the finest, most artful reach for panning seen today. c

ciao Indranil,
scatto dinamico e colorato.
Buona l'inquadratura che avrei personalmente stretto un po' per dare più risalto al soggetto
