Photographer’s Note

Any introduction to the eye-popping beauty of the Azores Islands would be remiss if it didn't mention San Miguel island's Nordeste region. It's sparsely populated, easy to get to from the Azores' major International airport at Ponta Delgada, and it's well set up for tourists to enjoy that beauty with many "belvedere," fully equipped places where you can picnic while enjoying breathtaking views of the ocean and countryside. Hi Sergio,
With a waterfall, hydrangeas and lush green vegetation this picture would be perfect for a travel guide to the Azores. It's a place I would love to visit and must be a real joy for nature and landscape photographers. Beautifully composed with the flowers in the sun and the waterfall in the shade.

Prefiro muito esta à que colocaste depois, referente a esta mesma cascata (estou a excluir a presença da família na anterior ;-).
Antes de ter comprado a minha slr, estive nos Açores e tirei umas fotos bem parecidas com esta, com as flores em grande plano e também um pouco mais afastado.
O impacto é grande e as flores a apanhar mais luz que a cascata fica maravilhoso...brilhante.
