In the same tiny tea place inside a bazaar in Tahtakale, frequented by hamals (porters) and some small traders...

Some of you have already seen these 2 men "conspiring", here and here - sorry for the cut and moving foot on the right, there was not much space and I was sitting very near...

Hello Catherine,
I don't know what these men were talking about, but those intense faces indicate it was something quite serious. It looks like a fairly typical interior of one of those thousands of tea houses where a foreign visitor will most likely not have to pay for her/his tea.

Excellente scène avec plusieurs plans.
J'aime la situation, le cadrage ainsi que quelques déformations par ci et par là, et surtout les proportions entre les chaussures et le reste...

this is interesting how important role the details play here... at first - i had a temptation to run a workshop cropping down the bottom of this image but then i realized we'd loose those details... and i just love them...
no need to feel sorry about the blured foot...

What a vivid portrait of everyday life in this place, Cath! The men lean toward each other like they've known each other for a long time and are comfortable together. The head, foot and hand of the center man all move toward the right man as if he is metaphorically reaching to embrace him. Meanwhile, the young man in the background goes about his business and pays them no attention--they're just two old guys talking. The simple bucket and Coke machine say that we are not in the midst of wealth.

Excellent timing for capturing their natural expression. Your closer POV adds great value with blurry movements there. Working B&W medium increased contrasts perfectly. Very good sharpness, perfect clarity. Congratulations.
