Thézac is a small agricultural village, population about 300, in the département of Charente-Maritime just south of the town of Saintes.

Hello Stephen

You've found a very good point of view to bring the two buildings out. It's unusual to see the presbytery just beside the church, it forms a beautiful complex.
The sky is perfect and enhances the whole composition.
Just a thing : I think it's a little too centered. Perhaps it would have been interesting to crop on the left part to remove the road-sign and have the presbytery in the one third of the image. I propose my version in a WS if you don't mind.
Anyway, a very pleasant composition.

Good sharpness & graphism with excellent colour & a superb blue sky. I like the angled pov, on the tower of the Abbey, showing light variations. Tfs!

A lovely photo with soft natural colours .
I also like the vivid touch of purple and red in the grenery !
It is an interesting church !
I wonder what it looks like inside . If one cropped the tower , to me it would look like a fine mansion !

Hi Stephen.
A very pleasing summer's day lights up this impressive church and presbytery. The sharpness of the photo is excellent, and the use of the intersecting roads is a good feature of the composition. I would probably have had a go at cloning out the speed sign, although the squarish sign above might have been difficult. Karine's workshop is another way of doing it, but I sort of like the road, and wonder what the photo would have looked like if you had swung the camera to the left a bit, thus placing the tower further right, rather than left.
