Not only Gyges, but Croesus as well, and that's not to mention the historical figues who passed through here, like Cyrus the Great of Persia, many of them on the warpath. This is beautiful Sardis, the old Lydian city. Is that Mount Tmolus in the background? I don't know.

I appreciate your decision to research and witness such examples of ancient times and historical places.you reflect the ruins from a civilization it s important. although just a few it s good to see visitors in the frame.
