Photographer’s Note
Cought this afternoon around 4:30PM, in Ste-Therese in the lower Laurentians. Firemen fighting a field fire. It was cloudy and dark, but the rain only came later on.

Interesting photo, brave to have your camera so close to the spurting hose

An excellent explosion of water captured here as it spills through cracks in the connection. The capture is so crisp and vivid and with excellent contrast and color. Very cool textures, also. The composition works well in this shot, also, giving us the fire truck and firefighter and the water they use. But it all comes back down to the crisp, precise capture of the water with this shutter speed. Very nicely done. It gives me a chilly feel seeing the water on a cool, grey, day. Excellent point of view and capture.
added I thought this was familiar but did not notice the RP and couldn't find a similar one in your past shots. This is definitely an improvement on the original, Gaetan.
