Photographer’s Note

Boats at Södra Varvsporten (near Vasa museum and Junibacken).

Autumn has come, indeed, but sometimes you wish summer was still going on - at least a few moments longer, at least in your mind, in memories... captured in photos and remaining sunny forever, because remembrances are timeless.

It's another photo of the same boats (much earlier I already posted one photo taken at the same area in twilight).

The same boats but... different mood.

Elena,
This is a nice summer image. The angle of the shot is great showing the boats from and angle to creates nice depth and direction. The sky is great providing a nice backdrop for the scene. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail. The blue and yellow flag was a nice addition to the shot.

Hello Elena,
The boats may be more peculiar than beautiful, but there is a tremendous crispness and clarity of the colours and the light that I like in this picture. And the Swedish flag flies quite prettily from one of the masts.

Perhaps a slightly tight framing in respect on the first barge, but very nice colors and sun reflection over the water. And the swimming birds make a nice detail.

Those old cargo ships look special with their masts. Pleasant summer scene from maritime Stockholm. Fluffy clouds look very nice. Flag of Sweden is a good extra detail.

I like the ducks in the water, they just live up the whole of the show.
A clear sky, beautiful formations of the clouds...what else shall a photographer ask for from the nature.

dear Elena,
comfortable and relaxing air on the sea, and clear and shining light in fine day, you captured well.
red of poles and lines on the right boat and yellow of the left poles are nice accent in this blue/white world.
and low cloud and distant green wood make good depth in this image.

Hey Elena,
It's definitely Nordic summer. Here are a lot of everyone's favorite things. I especially like the puffy clouds floating in the blue sky. The tone of left side of image is so nice. Birds floating on the waves bring something warm feeling to the image.
