Photographer’s Note
Hanupatta, Zanskar - altitude 3400 m
On the way to Hanupatta from Phanjila, we cross a tiny bridge over rapids. A narrow, steep gorge continues here ahead.

A nice vertical composition of the canyon & river with the walker providing sense of scale. Very good exposure considering the difficult lighting. Regards. Latiff.
PS: MK II? For me yes ... when it's available :).

hello Hisashi
You are very passionate photographer and your travel is really giving good images to places of interests. To get this POV, I think you have not just the location but the light condition to give such a fine effect of the valley and water rushing below.
Then again the timing moment is just when a group of people walking across the plank walk. A fine TE post.

p/s So what do you think of the 5D Mark II specification?

Hi Hisashi,
A phto that gives very good idea how difficult it is to provide modern transport on that terrain. One really feels being far away from everything. Man and horses, although small, are essential on this composition.

Hello Hisashi,
Nature has composed itself perfectly here and you found the right place for your camera. Magnificent view. Superb inclusion of the man and his donkeys. In case you had to wait for them, it was worth every minute - or even every hour!

Gert

Hi Hisashi,
lots of GOOD stuff in your gallery. For today I choose this one, simply because it strongly reminds me of Zion Canyon, Utah. And... I'm presently working on a whole bunch of Zion pictures for later posting.
Superb framing and exposure, with that stream down below providing great dynamics to the shot. Excellent!
You have a good weekend, my friend. I'll see you soon.
Ciao,
Fulvio.

Hello Hisashi,
A very impressive place and a nice photo with a good usage of vertical format, good framing, light and colors well collected. The man on the bridge with the two animals give an intersting element of life and give too an idea of the scale of the place. Good photowork.
Best regards,
Roger

Hi Hisashi. The wee bridge is dwarfed by it’s surroundings! Great photo. Good colours and clarity. Well composed also. Thanks for sharing.
Have a good week, Paul.

Hello Hisashi,
A great composition and a very impressive landscape. The placement of the bridge with this huge rock peak overlooking it is great. Very difficult light management with the gorge in the shadow and the light on the peaks over, but you managed ;-)
Have a nice day.
Best regards, Christian

Bonjour Hisashi,

Hisashi-san konnichiwa. It seems that you have seen quite some impressive scenery on that trip to India. I very much like this illustration of the rugged scenery, with crisp textural details and the special lighting on the rock face in the background. The person and animals crossing the bridge are an essential element of interest, and provide a very good understanding about the scale of the landscape. Nice photo.

This is an amazing scenery, Hisashi. I am wondering how nice was your treking in a place like this. The lights are very well equalized. Well taken!

Une photo impressionnante de verticalité dans ces gorges bien profondes. Le muletier donne toute la dimension à ces paysages aussi grandioses que gigantesques

Hi Hisashi
Thanks for your critic
For sure this bridge is tiny and on a narrow place.
Your pov give a large scale of the scene and how dangerous it's. And having someone passing on is excellent.
Exposition is nice and sky isn't burn when dark part are correctly exposed.
Have a nice day

Hello Hisashi-san,
Nice view of this bridge. Small , but very important for hte guys living in this country. The rocks and the river give the right size of the people on it.
Well done.
Salutations
