As the sun slowly started to set, I walked back down to the plateau to grab some nice evening light. As so often recently I wished for some more spectacular clouds - but what can we do.

One RAW multiple processed and manually blended.

Nice picture of mountain. I like the composition, with the river which drives the eye toward the snowy mountain.
Very good job for the blending !

super, diesen Anblick konnte ich leider noch nicht geniessen (sitze den ganzen Tag im Büro). Deine technische Qualität ist einfach perfekt und das Motiv und die Abendstimmung passt natürlich auch. Österreich von seiner schönsten Seite, abseits des Wahltrubels :)

Ein Klasse-Foto! Zwei Jahreszeiten in einem Foto - und das auf sehr eindrucksvolle Art! Der Bildaufbau ist genial (wie man heute sagt ;-) und er erzeugt eine unglaubliche Tiefe in der Landschaft. Beinahe ein 3D-Effekt...

very ncie shot, a little oversharped but still the POV is so great with nice depth and that massive mountian crowlling to the river with adds some nice perspective.
good light and colours

Hello Andreas,

The exposure is just wonderful. Yes, the trick with the multiple exposures from raw works well quite often. And it does here! Very nice how the sun hits the top of the mountain. Very nice perspective with the little stream.
A photograph that surely deserves much more attention here!
