Photographer’s Note

This unknown to me wedding couple was photographed in Vasileostrovskaja strelka in St.-Petersburg - a traditional place where newly wed couples come to break a bottle of sparkling wine and celebrate. Crowd starts to shout "gor´ko" (which means 'bitter') and to fight against bitterness couple has to kiss each other which they apparently do quite willingly:)
To the main persons in this photo: I don´t know you but neverthless wish all the happiness in the world.

A great picture with lovely desaturated colours. I hope the newly weds get to see the result, it deserves it. Excellent stuff!

I love the way you interpret the view by desaturated colours. The POV, the position of the crowd, the sharpness lead to look at the new couple.
