Photographer’s Note

This is the Getty Center in Los Angeles. The view is from the garden looking north east. The Getty offers a great deal of things to look at and photograph. The architecture alone is worth the visit. It's one of my favorite places to visit because I always see something that I didn't see last time I was there.

I didn't do much to the photo, cropped, adjusted brightness and saturated just a little to bring out the color. I really like this photo a lot.

Hi Cheryl,

Agree, this image is very nice. I truly like the angle to capture the gardens in the foreground. Overall I would say this composition is very nice. I like the saturation of colours and sharpness. I would perhaps add a tiny bit of contrast but that is just my taste. Good work Cheryl. I think this is a very impressive building. Cheers :-)

Hi Cheryl,

You have been gone a ong time! You have done very well composing, but yes some contrast would help. What are those three stumpy trees with red flowers? Are they real?
