Proud mother and shy baby, always good for a lovely double portrait. Mother her head is perhaps a bit to close to the edge, but she looks very proud. A tender and touching moment, very nice captured by you with good light which enlighten the baby her face....very lovely, good work.

A lovely portrait, featuring a beautiful and well managed light and a perfect DOF and sharpness. It's very well framed/cropped, although perhaps some more space between the mom's head and the border was desirable.
I wonder what are those little things on her hair. Ashes?

Merhaba Figen Hanım, Asyalı insan yüzlerini hep sevimli, sempatik bulmuşumdur. Çoğu batılılarda -istisnalar hariç- görmeye alışık olmadığımız insancıl bir ifade oluyor yüzlerinde. Aynı ifadeyi bu tombiş Nepalli bebek ve annesinde de görüyorum. Keşke bu fotoğraf onlarda da olsaydı da, güzel bir anı olarak saklasalardı. Hoş bir portre çalışması olmuş. Elinize sağlık. Tolga

Hello Figen,
You have a nice mother and child portrait here, with emphasis on the kid, as it has good light on the face and fine colors... the mother was in a more dark situation and it was difficult to balance, but you managed it quite well.

Mother's feelings about her baby are obvious! The baby examines you while the mother chose to look at the baby in order to escape from the camera and to emphasize her inherent interest. Interesting light focus and frame! The background blur is pleasing, too.
