Photographer’s Note

I shall never forget this beautiful place in the West Fjords of Iceland.We stayed in a guest house where the owner had lived all his life.I cannot think of a more beautiful place to spend your days.It seemed so far removed from the crazy pace of life back home.

Hi Jon,
I love this very simple and unusual view of Iceland. We see more often very dry places, I like to see this "other side" of the isle.
Excellent beautiful colors with the layers of grass, mountain, grass, mountain. I like very much the simplicity and the colors.

This is really expertly done, Jon. (Happy to have you as a neighbor in the gallery today.) You obviously picked out the best spot and waited patiently for the perfect light. And it paid off--what else can I say? I hope the guest house owner appreciated the view, because there's probably not a lot else to do in the West Fjords, particularly in winter. Regards, Ken.
