Photographer’s Note
This is a very Danish morning in late summer. There are spider webs everywhere and the grass is almost dead. By everywhere I mean I counted 7 new spider webs in one window of my house. When I went out to get this picture, the trick was not to find a spider web, but to find the most photogenic one in the hundreds that were near a pond near my house. After looking through the many I tried to photograph, I settled for this one, without the spider because I love the way the grass bends down, as if it is tired of all those spiders.
PP: I've sharpened, changed it to B&W and then "warmified" it by adding back just the warm colors.

a detail like I like it !
the sepia choice is very nice but it take off any season colors so for me it doesn't look from summer but end of automn....

Hello Kate
I think it would have also been interesting to see the colored version! I like the graphism provided by the spider web and the blurred BG have given more impact to your subject.
Cheers

Hi Kate,
This infact a very intelligent picture. You have given a new dimension to an ordinary spider web by composing it so well.
