Photographer’s Note

The one thing I love about the Hip Hop culture is that a lot of people don't see it as being modern art. You have young kids practicing their MC'ing/rhyming, a modern day poetry. As well as graffiti which is a modern day artform.

Pictured here is a kid I walked past on the street practicing his artform in a notebook. I tried to get a snap of his face but not once did he lift his head, a sure sign he was deep in concentration.

Very creative piece of work! You should come to TrekLens as well, there the postprocessing is very welcomed.
I like the idea, and I like that the perspective, angle also are to support this final view.

Nice shot, but as you mentioned it's a shame he didn't lift his head- which really would have made this shot.
Good post production work color/desaturation.

In many cases this kind of post-processing detracts from the scene, but you seem to have an eye for where such a hint of colour can bring an air of originality and emphasis. Nice
