Photographer’s Note

A beautiful still evening at Ranworth Broad in the Norfolk Broads National Park. There was a huge amount of bird activity with geese and duck flying in to roost on the Broad.

The Norfolk Broads is a low lying area of lakes and wetlands connected via river. A popular place for tourists, fishermen and bird watchers alike, the broads were formed by the first large scale energy industry - the extraction of peat for fuel.
