Photographer’s Note
A mill, i don't exactly know it's name, maybe someone does, in a misty area, this mill is for pumping water.
Shot on a Ilford b/w film.
pp: scan, crop, resize, stamp tool on spots, brightness/contrast, USM, noise, colour balance, save.
I sent this photograph to a Mill database they placed my photo on the page of this mill.

Nice raw punchy B&W image Fernand, I like the obvious grain allied to the lack of specific detail that gives this shot an abstract quality

Hi Fernand,
Nice imagery. I like the effects you post here, and the tones and geometry are the interesting features on display. The addition of noise works well to enhance the sail's shaping.
Well done & happy weekend to you,
Regards,
Vic, Singapore.

Good effect with the grain and sepia - very moody. It certainly is a refreshing break from the clear shart shots of these sort of things we see more and more of now in the digital age. I took a look at the Mill database site and your image really stands out. Well done. Excellent composition. The only thing that might improve it would be a slight trace of detail in the sky perhaps

Hello Fernand,
I think this is my favourite shot of yours. Very powerful. A love the grain on it and the composition is exellent. It would have been nice to get the complete tip of the "mil".
Regards,
Don
