Photographer’s Note

I took this picture on a recent trip to Saida(aka Sidon), Lebanon. We walked around the old part of the city next to the Souks and we bumped into this magnificent building called Khan El Franj. Below is a small description taken from Wikipedia:

"Khan El Franj, which means “Caravan of the Foreigners”, was built by Emir Fakhreddine in the 17th century to accommodate merchants and goods. This is a typical khan with a large rectangular courtyard and a central fountain surrounded by covered galleries."

Hello Thomas,
Simple but beautiful composition; like the different textures/patterns of the Floor, walls and the ceiling.
Just darkening the hihglights gives a much better contrast, at least that's my opinion: you'll find it in the ws.
