Cairo (Egypt)
Capital of Egypt and the largest city in Africa. Located on both banks of the Nile River near the head of the river's delta in northern Egypt, the site has been settled for more than 6,000 years and has served as the capital of numerous Egyptian civilizations. Cairo is known locally as Misr, the Arabic name for Egypt itself, because of its centrality in Egyptian life. Greater Cairo is spread across three of Egypt's administrative governorates: the east bank portion is located in Al Qalyobīyah Governorate, while the west bank is part of the governorates of Al Jīzah and Al Qalyobīyah. Cairo is marked by the traditions and influences of the East and the West, the ancient and the modern. However, the city also reflects Egypt's growing poverty, and it struggles to cope with problems caused by massive population growth, urban sprawl, and a deteriorating infrastructure.

Hi Burak,
That is an excellent view over Cairo, pleasant clear light and colors and so many details to watch, with the icing on the cake... THE Pyramids, almost hidden, in the far, which we discover at second look!

Great picture with the Nile as wonderful perspective.
Excellent composition through the bridge and the fantastice big city as Cairo in background with the big skyscraper.

Merhaba Burak,
wide view from a good high POV presenting is the skyline of Cairo very well. The misty impression is some smog together with sand from the desert I presume. the opening of the Nil from the right with the crossing bridge connects your view with the opposite skyline.

Piramid de offf oyle bir yerde kalmis ki, Zeynep'e katilmamak elde degil, miyopluk bende de var. Fotografin netligi, renkleri, keskinligi ve detaylari cok guzel gorunuyor.

Nil'in gorkemini cok guzel yansitmissiniz. Piramitlerin goruntusu de cok hos olmus. Betonlar arasindaki guzellikler insani Kahire'de cok sasirtiyor,

Hello Burak,

The River Nile looks good from this point of view!
Seems like the air was fairly clean this day, with good visibility and fine details in the distant architecture...
A well composed image, where the river makes a fine diagonal element!

Şimdi desem ki aynı yerde bulundum ama ben o piramitleri görmedim.
Sebepler:
a-gözüm bozuk miyopsan görmezsin tabii
b-o zamanlar fotoğraf çekmiyordum
c-Mısır'da pek birşey yiyemediğimden aç kaldım , kafam çalışmıyordu:P
Neyse ...
Harika bir başlık ve çok hoş bir manzara ...

Merhaba Burak,
Dünden bu güne 2 kare nasıl oldu anlamadım TE torpilli davranmış sana.Kahireden daha, Nil in kesin büyüsü var ,sanki o kadar tanrının tılsımının etkisini hissediyor insan.Piramit leri ise,bütün ihtişamlarına karşılık çevrelerinin derbeder binalarla boğuntusu yüzünden,ilk gördüğümde tam hayal kırıklığı yaşadımdı.Kahire olduğundan temiz görünüyor.Nil de bambaşka güzel.Tekrar Kahireyi değil ama Nilde geziyi isterim.Teşekkürler yeniden hatırlattığın için
