Welcome Ritwick,
I loved ur first image. But you've a lot to improve upon-

- Size if the pic is too small. See others' pics and then post a bigger size photograph.

- Your note reveals almost nothing. I wouldn't have mattered to me even if you wrote 'A dive into the Jamuna River'. Just kidding, but a note should be informative and meaningful enough to create interest in the viewer. Like here, you could possibly mention where you clicked it or why you clicked it.

- Though I liked the composition, but you could include other elements in the pic. As of now, it looks a bit dull. Fortunately, I've a recent pic by Angshu for ur ref- http://www.trekearth.com/viewphotos.php?l=3&p=950167. View it and see how a pic can be made more interesting by inclusion of more elements.

So, enough of preaching, you would be irritated by now :)
