Photographer’s Note

Taken while on the Cave of the Winds Tour while visiting Goat Island, which is the island between the American Falls and the Canadian Falls.

Summertime flow rate of the American Falls is approximately 75,000 gal/sec! And, that's after diverting 50-75% of the water for electricity generation. Now that's a lot of water!

Very nice! When I went to Niagara, I didn't take that tour. Now I wish I would have.

You captured the impressive falls with this angle in a supperb way. The people in the front make it dramatic too.
The yellow of theri raincoats is in a good contrast to the blue of the sky.
