yok yok... oyle fazla sey bilmeyeceksin. es kaza ögrendiysen de ortada hissettirmeyeceksin. eger bu yeterli olmadıysa yukaridaki fotograftan ders almayi bileceksin. acaba ne biliyorlardi da temize havale edildiler diye hiiiiiic kafa yormayacaksin.

Striking use of B&W, sharp details and excellent use of DOF. The fish at the rightmost corner goes very well with ur title- she know everything! your note is very interesting.

I want to click B&W like this one, but bounded by the limitations of my equip. May be some day...

şimdi felsefe yapiim biraz,
balıklar eğer herşeyi biliyorsa neden çok unutkan insanlara balık akıllı deniyor,
acaba hangisi gerçek, herşeyi bilmek mi yoksa yoksa öğrendiğini 5 saniye sonra unutmak mı, yoksa balıklar unutuyormuş gibi yapıp bizi kandırıyorlar mı????? evet gelde çık bu işin içinden :D:D:D:D
neyse şaka bir yana, DOF harika, balıklara yazık olmuş :) birde bir fotoğrafcıya yakalanmışalar, ölümde bile rahat yok :)

kucuk hali de cok guzeldi...bak surat astin,somurttun,kofte dudaklari sarkittin ...ama turnayi da gozunden vurdun,iyi kare bulamadim diye surat astiydin di mi...;P,kafani kirmak lazim senin arada bir neyyysssee...

burada kompozisyonun,netleme noktan ve s/b tercihin hepsi de pek yerli yerinde olmus,zor sartlar altinda gerceklesti ama bir tek bu kare icin bile degermis o sartlara, haa bu arada mr.ilgim'a selam olsun,kulaklari cinlasin...)))

This photo is not so different from a last photo of Polonaise and I like it a lot ! Even dead, these animals have a weird expression that is interesting...

The knife there looks terrible ! (and great, I mean). Even more terrible, your sentence in the note : "the slaughtered thinkers of the world" - great dedication indeed !

He yani huysuzlanmayıp orayı burayı didikleseydim ben de böyle karizmatik şeyler bulabilir miydim?
Mesela piknik örtüsü desenli gömleğin sakladığı çelik kasların üzerinde bir iki ekmek kırıntısı yakalar mıydım? :))
Fotoğraf çok şık ve bunu sen de biliyorsun. Bir insan hem 4 balık kafasının yanında bir bıçağı bulacak kadar şanslı hem bu notu yazacak kadar çağırışımlara açık hem de 50 mm nimetlerinden sınırsız faydalanma kapasitesinde olabilir mi ya...
Kırmızı bir muşamba olsaydı orada kan gövdeyi götürmüş derdik ihihihi :))

Bugün için ne düşünüyorsun bir de?

notla fotografin uyumu super. fotograf da super. baliklarin dehsetle acilmis gozleri, bulanik da olsa urkutucu ve tehditkar gorunmeye devam eden bicak, bol siyah, bol bol gri, yipranmis dokular, velhasil hersey cok sairane. cok cok begendim. civil civil agvadan boyle bir fotografla donmen de baska bi guzellik. ))

Etonnante... C'est une photo que je trouve assez symbolique, et elle ferait un excellent support pour écrire une histoire. Les deux poissons en avant-plan semblent encore nous regarder, et la façon dont la tête de l'un est tournée vers l'autre donne l'impression qu'il lui raconte quelque chose à l'oreille. J'aime beaucoup.

Hi Deniz - I was intrigued by the lyrics and managed to find the song by Goran Bregovich. And I'm very glad I did, it certainly brought a smile to my face on this very grey Sunday morning in London. I could imagine the dismembered fish heads singing the angelic chorus Disney fashion.

Once again a fantastic photo, very unusual, very artistic, very creative! Great idea and realisation, excellent low POV, fantastic "shallow" depth of field, but "crispy" sharp on your focal point, perfect choice of b&w! Great movie,too, with fantastic music by Bregovic (I think) and the voice of Iggy still ecoing in my head! Congratulations!

I consider 'thing' photography as a some kind of wizardry... You have to be good and you are on your own - simply because there is a very little help from the subject...
Things don't smile.. They don't have the pretty faces, round boobs and slim legs...
They don't have the architectural style...
They are ... Well ... They are 'the things'...
Go and try to make a beauty out of them...?
Now - that's challenging - isn't it"

I love the high contrast for this black and white and your excellent use of depth of field. The diagonal line of the knife with the fish heads placed along it is great for the composition. And lastly but not least the subject matter with those dead staring eyes is intersting for this still life image.

Ben bu fotoğrafı çektiğini bilmiyordum. Sanırım ben menderekte iken sen bununla uğraşıyordun. Son derece etkili ve anlamlı bir fotoğraf olmuş. Bir çok kişinin balık artığı, çöp diye göreceklerinden çok etkili ve sert mesaj çıkartabilmişsin. Gönülden kutlarım seni. Açıklama notun fotoğrafın kadar etkili.

Resim sanatinda yillar boyunca hep tabakta balik konusu islenmistir. Bunlarin icinden hatirladigim benim Picasso'nun seramik tabaklari. Fotografini gorunce Picasso'nun tabaklarina bir kez daha bakmak istedim ve google'da kisa bir dolasma turu....ve sonuc:
"Picasso, canak comlek isinden ayri bir zevk almaktadir. Ogle yemeginde yedigi yassi bir baligin kilcigindan cikardigi kalipla, bir tabaga ucuncu boyut ekleyerek yeni tasarimlar gerceklestirir".
Kissadan Hisseyi acik uclu birakiyorum:)
Ondeki baliklara odaklayarak siyah beyaz ile cok hos olan bu sanat eseri tadindaki fotografini kutluyorum.

A great one Deniz. Unexpected it is, original subject and a difficult one as says our dear George. And you managed to give it such a presence. The B/W treatment is just beautiful, with shining tones, the use of the DOF so intelligent, just one sharp head. It makes for superb textures and a very artistic rendering. And now I have to rent that superb film and see it again...Thanks for both, the photograph and the text !

Little bit scary because of the knife and all the fishy heads on the table...but I got my own interpretation about it.Like some of us already said before me,it`s unexpected...I`ll said....UNUSUAL,DIFFERENT...

Don`t know how looks the original,if looks like the way I see it...have to give you my credit for the settings...if not, I`ll give my full credit for the dark,moody presentation.

You have posted a lot of thrilling shots lately (sorry for not commenting all of them, but I’m too lazy), but this one is the best for me.
It’s not exactly appetizing but it’s a very strong compo. I think it would fit pretty well into an art exhibition. It makes my jealous of your lens and your inspiration.
