Islands of Taormina Photo

Photographer’s Note

Underneath Taormina is isola beautiful (that is this that we see), a small barren island that in low tide lays a sand way with the beach, and in the environs we will prune to visit the Garglantas de Alcántara, incredible basaltic formation in the form of defile.

Taormina is without doubt one of Sicilian jewels. It is certain well that tourist over-exploitation has derived in an agglomeration of peculiar foreigners who shake the life of the 10,000 inhabitants of the city.

Located to two hundred meters of height, on Monte Tauros, a expléndida natural terrace, Taormina, the old Tauromerion colony, founded by colonists fled from saqueda Naxos on the 403 a. Una gozada de cala . Por ahí bucearon los de Deep blue . Nada que objetar a tu preciosa foto . Está perfecta incluso con el espacio sombreado del pino de la izquierda ...Lo que no me gusta es ese edificio de abajo (por qué coño dejan edificar tan cerca del paraíso???)

Elena,
Excellent shot of this little island. The shot is framed nicely by the trees which focus our attention to the main subject. The lighting and colors are great with excellent sharpness and detail.

A classic Mediterranean look here, Elena. The foreground trees make a nice frame, and the light is from a low enough angle to give you good color. It might be good to crop a little off the bottom, since those white flowers are distracting. Nice choice of POV, though. That island looks almost like a turtle. Regards, Ken.

Hola Elena,
Una vista de sueño, adorablemente mediterránea, con la ensenada y la islita encuadradas por los árboles del primer plano. El verde de la vegetación y el azul algo verdoso del mar so muy atractivos.
El horizonte está ligeramente inclinado y quizás prefiriera que las sombra a izquierda no quedaran tan oscuras,. Aunque no es muy importante, intenté un WS, espero que no te moleste.

Hola Elena.
La verdad que Taormina es una preciosa ciudad, estuve ahí el pasado mes de Septiembre y la disfrute a plenitud. Esta misma toma trate de hacerla pero la velocidad del autobús me lo impidió, pero tu has logrado mucho mejor lo que yo no pude.
