Photographer’s Note
Not sure about this little photo but the moment was magic for me. We were reaching the outskirts of the camp of Roma families who were living in the middle of the nearby fields during the festival of Hacibektas.
Lots of unruly (but lovely) kids running around, this was just a few metres from the families preparing to have their evening meal in the wild... Free and proud people, very friendly families !
(As I'm learning to convert my photos in B&W (still loving colours, though), I've prefered to post this one instead of the colour version ; I think that here it's more expressive but the colours were very golden and warm too).

O yes. I remember such fun. Tree and rope. That was enough for kids. Toaday they must have computers, mobiles and so on.
Thanks for your journey in time.
Regards my dear friend.

Re-bonjour Catherine,
Bise. Marianne

Hello,
I like the look on the boy's face and the simplicity of his swing. I've looked at both versions and I think this one shows his face better. On the other hand the fields in the distance are lost. I'm not sure if it would have been better with some rigorous cropping or not. You might have been able to focus the viewer, just on him. The girl without her head is also hard to figure out. I like the picture and I'm glad you posted it, but, I'm just not sure about it. Good story to go with it. BTW, Thanks for your great critiques.

Salut Cath,

it's a spur of a moment, Cathy...
you don't think about photography at all...
You are just caught in the middle of your feelings, your inner thoughts...
You click for yourself...To keep it forever...To stay with it...
And, that's how a fotka becomes the most precious fotka of them all

Hi Catherine,
Really a nice scene, with lot of mood and feelings, the title reflects very well what we see there,on the other hand I agree
with other statements, that the bodies are not very visible.
Nice work,regards,
Horatiu
