Photographer’s Note
When walking from the old centre of Kauklahti district towards the small pond Palolampi, one passes an old part of Kauklahti, one of the areas of most cultural importance in Kauklahti. The name of the area, located on a small hill, is Bassenmäki. The wooden houses along the road were built in the beginning of the 20th century by carpenter Frans Olin, who we can thank for the beautiful appearance of the area. This is one of those houses, well preserved.
Nowadays Kauklahti is a fast growing district in Espoo city.

Hej Lasse,
I'm currently looking for a home so this one fits perfectly my expectations, too bad I do not relocate to Finland, lovely wooden house with a definite style, well framed and exposed image.
Have a nice day JY

Hej Lasse,
A very fine garden, looks like the owner really cares for gardening! The composition is also very good with a fine POV and the "grindstolpe" (?) in the right place. The colour of the roof is an exact match to the apples.

Hello Lasse. The pretty garden, the timber building, the apple tree, - everything in this photo works beautifully and comfortably. Here one would like to live. Best regards, Wolfgang.

Hei Lasse,
Very cosy looking home on the city outskirts. There's plenty of such in Tampere too. A bit pity that visible part of the sky is cloudy. I guess this neighborhood is worth revising when theres more autumn colours around.

hej Lasse,
I would say this looks pretty much like mine house both in color and in architecture even if this has better preserved details (windows etc.)

Hello Lasse,
I feel really guilty I had not seen this fine picture of yours before. I can only bring the excuse that I was away at the time. I like this traditional house, so bright and gracious, surrounded by such a luxuriant greenery. Very sharp and shining. Are that an apple tree the one in the center?
Best greetings,
Donato
