On the Outback Photo

Photographer’s Note

A picture took along a trail in the hills of Capo Coda Cavallo a peninsula on the eastern cost of Sardinia.
All around there are just bushes, white trails, nude earth, insects, a sort of sardinian Outback, with similar temperature...
The rocky mount on the background is an island, Tavolara, that for decades hosted and underwater NATO base of nuclear submarines. Today is part of a Regional Park.

This is my first day of work after a 40 days of vacation...a bad, sad and long day....

Ah you're back from Paradise, poor guy only 40 days of vacation, I need to reincarnate as an italian ! Nice image that illustrates how remote and quiet those superb beaches can be... All my sympathy is with you on that awful day, I also start anew today after 2 weeks at home curing my back...

Hi Paolo,

Seem like a nice place to go for a hike. Nice perspective using the road as main focal point. The people add to the composition though they are small in such a large landscape. Good light and colours. Thanks Paolo.

F/20 and 1/250 and without tripod this is superb, you must have a very good hand, quiet and silence have at one's disposal.
You chose a excellent angle, right on the path this care for depth and nice perspective.

I like this one, the winding road theme is always captivating!
Here the dirt road takes me straight to the rugged mountain, and the colours of vegetation tell the story of late summer...
A well balanced composition with a fine sense of depth!

On croit deviner la mer juste derrière la petit colline. Une très belle vue du "Sardinian Outback" avec cette ile majestueuse que l'on aperçoit en arrière-plan.

ottima composizione, molto bella come colore e perfettamente equilibrata, con tutti gl'ingredienti strategicamente piazzati al meglio.
