Hi Kamran, well seen composition, must admit I saw you taking this and thought that I couldn't see an image in it. But the result is good. Exposure is surprisingly good throughout the image. cheers, Steve

Hello Kamran,
Having seen your post and that of Santo's I really wish that I was there as well. The scenery at dusk in Williamstown is indeed very attractive.
This low POV shot has its own merit and the viewer eyes are led immediately to lighted building in the distant. I feel that the FG may be lacking interest and a bit excessively dominant, but perhaps its just my opinion. I have done a WS for comparison, let me know what you think.
Cheers
Alfred

Hey
I like this atmospheric shot at the pier. There is much mood captured, and its with great clarity and sharpness.
Nicely done

G'day Kamran
A typical Melbourne day. But wait 5 minutes and the sun will be out soon! A good catch of the threatening rainclouds. Tfs!

Hello Kamran, I like Steve didn't see much in it but you have managed to make a good shot out of it. The colour & light are fantastic & the sky looks pretty threatening, a nice feel about it. I had a look at Alfred's WS it makes a difference & I like it but not necessarily better.
A nice place Williamstown & very nice capture.
Regards
Santo
PS. Is that near where Julie lives :-))).

Hi Kamran.
Nice one, this. For once, I quite like the lens distortion, as it contributes to the unsettling atmosphere created by the stormy looking sky. I have taken a few shots from this spot myself, although none on TE, but in finer weather. I like the way the restaurant is all lit up in the gathering gloom, and the slight vignetting at the corners, although I would possibly crop a little off each side and the bottom, but not quite to Alfred's proportions.
Anyway, it's a great place to take photos and I enjoy seeing somewhere I know so well on TE.
Regards,
Andrew
