Photographer’s Note
Bulit in 1832 AD by the then Prime Minister Bhimsen Thapa, this tower is named after his name. The Tower is also know as Dharahara in Nepalese, it is is nine storey (50.2m) high. The view of Kathmandu Valley from top was magnificient.

Really good composition. You chose the very right moment to capture the picture and achieved superb effect thanks to the contrast between the deep blue sky and the whitish structure.

Anyways, this is very nice shot. Good POV. Lovely sky. GOod contrast. Would like to use your pic in my magazine someday if you give permission to do so and provide me larger size.

Ill give full points to the snap... its one of my fav kathmandu landmarks.... love those round windows..and u can almost make out how the staircase winds upwards....
and yes.. the foodcourt around the Tower serves some amazing food ..
