Photographer’s Note
Hello,
Today a photo taken at river Findhorn, near Logie Estate, near Forres in Moray, North East Scotland. The white building visible near the middle belongs to the Estate. Whole area is really beautiful and worth visiting. The river feature some excellent rock formations and is surrounded by beautiful forest and rural landscapes, there are nice gardens to visit and at the Estate itself you can enjoy nice cup of coffee or hot chocolate, have lunch, visit few shops and galery with very nice paintings and crafts. Me and family enjoyed it very much, it's one of these places where you can just relax and feel good :)
About the photography:
limited budget combined with fascination about details and need for megapixels can lead to experiments like this. One can think it's ordinary one-frame shot but in fact it's made of 10 vertical photographs joined together. The top half is made of 5 and another 5 create the bottom half. I used RAW format, tripod and circular polarizer filter. Original image size is 8000x5800 @300 dpi and it has just enough details to please my needs :-)
Thanks for any critiques,
have a nice day!

Czas na rewanz z mojej strony ;)
Dobra robota.
Powodzenia i do zobaczenia gdzies w okolicy ;)
Pozdrawiam, Piotr.

Hi Tomasz.
I have been looking at your gallery and also your Land of light website, browsing through lots of fine Scottish landscapes. You really are obsessed with details and very good at stitching and HDR etc. I can't believe you took so much trouble over this one, as it looks like a scene that could be taken in one shot with a wide angle lens, but yes, there is a lot of detail which can be seen best in the rocks on the right. The sharpness is phenomenal, almost too much. Aesthetically, it is a very appealing photo, with good perspective and a nice little white focal point which you explain in your very good note. The sky is superb and you have not allowed too much of the shaded areas to be devoid of detail. Really a nice picture of this beautiful place.
Regards,
Andrew

Pozdrawiam serdecznie
Małgorzata
