Photographer’s Note
Fireworks over the Firewatch Tower.
The 20th of August (St. Stephen's Day) is celebrated nationwide with fireworks.
St. Stephen was our first king and the founder of the Kingdom of Hungary and he was canonized on this day in 1083.
The 48 meter tall Firewatch Tower was built on the medieval fortress and it was extended several times over the centuries. The uppermost part was added in 1810.

Great record of the Hungarian fireworks. That pic makes a big impression...
I seem you used here a darken filter (the left-top corner), or my monitor is joking to me :-) If yes - I think It would see better without them.
Regards from Poland - Michal.

I kept the browser open from yesterday to keep this picture before my eyes and to finally find some time to comment on it. I love it. Words are not the proper means to describe the feeling. You have done what photography is meant to be in the first place: catching unique moments. The timing, the light and the frame are playing well alltogehter, making it a calendar or a desktop favourite for many. Thanks for posting pics like these. Wishes from Poland. Tom.
