El pueblo de Os de Civís pertenece al municipio de los Valles del Valira . Está limitado al sur por La Seo de Urgel, el Feners de Calvinyà, y Pic de Banat . La divisoria del este sube por el Coll del Boscall y Coll de Queral, hasta Andorra. El norte está limitado por las tierras andorranas y por el pic de Monturull (2.761 m), Pic de la Rabassa, Cauber, Pic d'Aós (2.406 m), Pic de Cabús (2.778 m) y Pic de Salòria (2.789 m9. El poniente baja hasta el coll del Ras de Conques y el Roc de la Guàrdia.
El Municipio está atravesado de N a S por el río Valira. La mayor parte del municipio es montañoso y rodeado de bosque.

La entrada al pueblo se hace por una calle muy ancha con establecimientos a ambos lados repletos de artículos turñisticos y además tres buenos hostales. Las casas están hechas con piedra y techos de pizarra, muy cuidadas, se utilizan básicamente como segundas residencias. Desde el pueblo y por un camino empedrado y empinado y rodeados de pequeñas casas llegaremos a la iglesia románica de San Pedro y Santa Margarita que antiguamente era un castillo. En dicho pueblo se puede practicar la Hípica, hacer excursiones a pie o en jeep 4 por 4, rulina, escalada, y hay deliciosas setas.

The people of Os of Civ belongs to the town of Valles del Valira. It is limited to the south by La La Seu d'Urgell, Feners of Calvinyà, and Pic of Banat. The municipality is crossed by S N to the river Valira. Most of the town is mountainous and surrounded by forest.

The entrance to the village is done by a very wide street with facilities on both sides filled with articles and turñisticos further three good hostels. The houses are made of stone and slate roofs, very cared for, are used primarily as second homes. Since the people and by a paved road and surrounded by steep and small houses arrive at the Romanesque church of San Pedro and Santa Margarita who was formerly a castle. That people can practise Horse Riding, hiking on foot or by jeep 4 by 4, rulina, climbing, and there are delicious mushrooms.
