Photographer’s Note
Les Vans, a small city in the department Ardeche, near the mountain range of the "Cevennes". If you believe the website with 2700 inhabitants, to me it seemed bigger. Saturday is market time. The market draws lots of people to Les Vans. Artists and alternative lifestyle people have chosen this as their place, in harmony with other habitants. Mixed alltogether it creates a unique atmospherein this place.
Specialities are local sausages, wine, honey and products made from sweet chestnuts produced in this area.
I liked the bright colors the day we visited.
