Photographer’s Note
Wemyss Bay.South West of Scotland.
Ticket Office for boat or train.Taking passengers to and from Glasgow to Rothsey, Isle of Bute maybe also some other small towns I think.
I liked this pier/railway station.
Lovely old station and pier. Not so easy to find one like this, with such fine design and structure. All riveted together As they did many years ago. All glass roof, for passenger comfort, keep one dry.I have posted a few of this station.

Hi Robert,
You took this place with an interesting angle here. Beautiful colours and an excellent pov.

Hello Robert,
Another fine composition in this series. I like the point of view here and the presence of the people at the ticket office. You seem to have enjoyed yourself here; so many photographic opportunities.

Hi Robert.
I'm glad I found this second shot of the station. I like this point of view just as much, and the man is still buying his ticket! I didn't think it needed sharpening at all. The exposure is very good. I love the many curves in the architecture.
Regards,
Andrew

Hi Robert,
Just beautiful old steel (or iron?)architecture.
Colours, curvy details and light of a sunny day all go well together. I also like human presence at the ticket booth.

I've been enjoying this series a lot, it's a shame the focus is slightly out on this one. Even so the POV and shapes of the ironwork are excellent, I can just imagine the fun you've had wandering around looking for good shots.
I've posted a sharpened version in a workshop - see if you think it improves things.

Hello, Robert.
Another fine picture of this railway station but I'm not sure if it has quite the instant appeal of your last posting - that was superb. This one is good but it's not quite so sharp as it could be - that column on the left which we have seen before is not as sharp and not quite so imposing as it was before.
Still, a fine picture and well composed.
Best Wishes,
John.
P.S. Alastair's workshop has helped this one a lot, I feel.

Beautiful lines & curves Robert, you really get a feeling of space & light. Amazing structure.
