Photographer’s Note

The square of Monte San Biagio is very small, just like a little widening in an alley. The arcade on the right is called Portico dello Scacco, a gothic-romanescue design leading to a building called Casa del Vescovo, "The Bishop's house", as a remembrance of the Bishop of Fondi, Giacomo Pellegrino, who died here in 1537.

A nice place and a beautiful photo with a good management of light. Good game of shade and light and nice propspect. The women gives a interesting element of life. Good framing too.

There is a wonderful mix of ancient architecture and modern life. Well composed image with vertical format. Good light management of the scene with such a range of light and shade.

An attractive picture of these very old buildings. The addition of a café and a girl makes this even more attractive. It is always fascinating for someone coming from northern Europe, to see all these very old and still functionable buildings!

Im impressed that you manage to get such good exposures on those ally pictures as it usually are quite hard light conditions, like the lady in red, she contrast wery well against the different grey and ochre tones on the buildings.

Ciao Lasse! che bella veduta, che posto proprio caratteristico. Mi piace come introduci la piazzetta, dovew non può mancare un bar che si chiama "bar Centrale", ed una cameriera che se ne sta con le mani sui fianchi in attesa di un'ordinazione!

Uno scorcio molto caratteristico di questa cittadina italiana.
I muri con la muffa nera danno l'idea dell'antichità e della povertà. Ottima esposizione e contrasto. Carina la ragazza nella piazzetta. Un bel documento.
