Peculiar Timing in Williamsburgh Photo

Photographer’s Note

This was taken in the Williamsburgh neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York. The police officers were handing out fliers announcing a new wave in crime in the area...iPhone muggings!!! This was of particular concern, as the new iPhone 3G was coming out that weekend. They appear to have stopped for a rest in this shot. The timing is priceless.

I think this is an interesting shot, with the lounging chubby cop looking at you, and the unaware people in the window.

I think, it's not easy to photograph policemen, like in any other country, It's a pitie for the bicycles in front and the view of the second policeman.
Contrast is fine.
what do they say ( on the wall)?: What is the meaning?

This is a really interesting capture! Having two serious policemen standing in front of that funny mural is great. I also like the people you caught in the window. I think the bicycles add authenticity to the street scene, too.

Hi my friend,
this is a funy capture with the 2 cops standing against the painted wall..the contrast between this 2 "elements" is strong and makes the difference. The inclusion of the bikes added that touch of "street" that I like a lot. Nice capture!
