I like this simple compo, and the choice of B&W, a good range of tones, and the well handled sky (Polariser?) set the whole thing off nicely.

Nice abstract shot, with appropriate title. Good composition. I agree that the B&W works well in this shot but, I wonder how the color version looks like.

A very dramatic composition Carma, that has good impact and lovely balance.
I love the stairs leading off out of the frame and the total absence of land in the background give the shot a unearthly feel.
1st rate.

simple and effective, isn't that how brilliance was born? I'm not sure, but i like tis very much... i've seen a lot of photographs here with the very 'original' title; stairway to heaven but no of them fitted that mood so perfectly as this one... who's luckely called very different also... well seen!!!

A beautiful composition. Nice that you chose b/w, colour would look garish. The stairs are sharp, but I find there to be too sharp a distinction b/w stairs and sky... did you feather that edge?

Je monte les marches les unes après les autres, arrivé à cette endroit je vois cette magnifique photo d'un cadrage excellent et de bon contraste et je décide de m'y arrêter pour l'admirer.
