Photographer’s Note

Jantar mantar is an ancient observatory built by one of the earlier rulers of Delhi. Today it is located right in the centre of the capital. The etxture has appeared because of the monsoon waters taking their toll on the cheap limestone based coat of colours given to the monument to retain the original red hues. This one is a shot of one of the instruments used to measure time.

Once again, you did a great work with just a wall, an aperture and a few elements !
It's a clever idea, perfectly done.
Colors and contrast are great, and give a very strong impact. And the light is well managed to enhance the whole composition.

We must respect the inventors of time instrument, however crude the piece.

This is a good abstract view of color+shapes that bring a visual. The shadow is not strong but it still is obvious in this capture beyond the window opening.
