Photographer’s Note
I arrived in Harlingen as the sun was setting. I caught a glimpse of the ship that was to be my home for the next four weeks. At the end of the pier in Harlingen, Friesland,(in the middle of the photo) was the former light ship Jenni Baynton (formally LV 8).Now an offshore radio station called "Seagull". A time and place that changed my life...

Chris, I like the composition of your photo particularly the way the pier draws us to the sun. Also, I like the detail in front. Too often with my own pictures I struggle to get the exposure right in this type of shot.
