Photographer’s Note
Following the directions to Cacela Velha drivers found the village at the top. A panoramic view of everything delights the visiter. In reallity there is a cross indicating factory ( restaurant ), that`s the right way to get there. Small boats crosses the river (Ria Formosa ) and in front the sandy place is the begging of the huge island. The beaches have no end. At high tide the beaches almost disappear completely and people must be attentive looking for higher places to stay.
