Photographer’s Note
I needed that shot in my gallery. I wished to find it once..
A full stop on my way around the painful history of Polish Jews and their present absence?? Utopia?? Science-Fiction?
Catholic Priest and Jewish Rebbe together.. shoulder by shoulder.. Psalm after the Kaddish..
Together, mourning the Vanished World, the times when Jewish and Polish nations lived in the close neighbourhood ..
Good will that One may have or simply - not..
Parish-priest of Rymanow - Mieczyslaw Szostak, Rebbe of Rimanov living in New York - Abraham Reich at the anniversary of sending Jewish inhabitants of the town to concentration camp to Belzec. August 13, 1942. For death.
Thank your for the courage.. Thank you for the Hope..

Hi Agnieszka! It is obvious that this is not a simple shot and after I read your note I'm sure that this is a journalistic shot that can accompany an article about the history of Polish Jews. Congrats!

" I needed that shot in my gallery. I wished to find it once.. "
You don't 'find' the shots, Agnieszko...
You 'make' the shots...
The most precious ones...The ones with the soul enchanted within...
With the story... With a heart...
Great photography, great work, Ms.Traczewska...
No wonder that there is hardly any response to your gallery... Hardly any recognition of your magnificent work...
Right now , as we speak - there are, on TE - dozens of the worst, nightmarish, worthless fotkas - being awarded with the most idiotic critiques imaginable and sparkled with the tons of green points.
Your Jewish saga (Chasydis and the others) - IS the best series EVER produced on TE - of any series in there...
Agnieszka - we don't deserve you...

Hi Agnieszka,
thanks for this masterpiece. It´s serious art, with a lot of background. With one face from the front, one in profile and the low POV you fill the three dimensions of this space with an immense tension.
I´m going along with George completely, this is the best series here.
I´m not going along with him that your gallery doesn´t get attention. If you count only the points given for quality (and not the ones in change/exchange) your one of the top photographers here.
Compliments, Christian
