Tolchkovo Composite Photo

Photographer’s Note

Church of St John the Baptist in Tolchkovo, made in year 1671, stands on the outskirts of Yaroslavl, on a shore of Kotorosl River, is a quite special one. It's the peak and essence of the Yaroslavl's habit to cover the walls of the churches with ceramic plates, here one can see innumerable plates decorating the brick walls, as well as quite original domes.
It's a museum now and it's standing in a far part of the city, it's not quite easy to reach.

(As I hired a car it was quite easy to me, though).
\Brand-new representative of some... err... French car-company, name of the car starts of Renau...err, no advertisment here! :) There one can hire a car and travel in and around Yaroslavl. I did it and I liked their coditions.\

Hm. Well. Church is enourmously big and surrounded by trees, so it's IMPOSSIBLE to take it in one photo; what you see is the composition of 3 photos, some wrong things can be seen on the photo, I'm afraid.
Anyway. It's a special church, I planned to visit it long beforehand.

The architecture is great and you have presented it nicely. The angle of the shot is fine giving the scene nice depth. The lighting and colors are fine with nice sharpness and detail. The trees provide nice framing for the shot.
