Photographer’s Note
I'd just captured a few swallows, when all of a sudden I see this sparrow sitting in the verandah of the resort room I was in. I've cropped it leaving space behind it because there was an ugly pillar in front of the bird.

Hi Goldy,
A really fine shot of this male house sparrow. Really interesting to learn that you also have this sparrow in India. It is a very common bird here. TFS and have a nice week-end!

Goldy,
It's a nice capture. Good enough detail. thoug sharpness can be a little better and a little bit more contrast will help make it pop and crop even more on the right to bring the bird closer, but I see that your image is already very pixellated. otherwise a very natural and lovely image.
Thanks for your nice words.

It's a pity about the pillar as it would have been better to have some space in front of the sparrow instead of behind it. Nevertheless you have captured in sharp detail. Although sparrows are still quite common in the UK there is a worry that their numbers are rapidly decreasing.

Hello Goldy,
A very good shot, the bird is well located in the image and the composition is well balanced. I like too the green decor, the bird arise very well in this decor.

Hello Goldy,
I have a few of those around the house, and their favourite is sweet biscuits!
They are very trustful and when they want more to eat they are hovering outside the window until I give them something. Believe it or not a couple of weeks ago one actually came into the kitchen as the window was open, hehehe...
This is a fine capture with good details in the plumage, a well composed presentation!
