Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken during a stop on the long trip from Hanoi to Halong Bay. We stopped at a shop specifically meant for tourists making this trip. Needless to say it was extremely boring inside that shop, so I stepped outside into the horribly hot weather to see if there was anything more interesting there. There on the far side of the parking space our bus parked on she sat. In the middle of the day, in the middle of nowhere, doing nothing.

Hi Oleg
nice capture and moment, the (girl?) is awesome in that position and half sleeping...
good composition or crop... I like the "mood" that seems that everything is really sleeping....
I just found that the image is a bit blur... I did a WS.

I like this photo, perhaps more I like your notes and comments. We often don't get a word tone with the photos. It is an interesting photo with a natural summer heat feel from the girl. Living in Beijing I see this kind of "lost in the day" perspective at times. Specifically for those "posted" at some shop, making low wages, but there. The workshop does help your image and it is more clear. Good job for Taba!

Hello Oleg.
I like very much your composition and the way you have cropped it. It's a good candid daily life capture. However, as Taba has shown, a little work on the contrast and sharpness can make a huge difference.
I like your note! I suppose in every tiny corner of the world there are people sitting in the shade doing nothing. So your shot has a universal significance. Or insignificance, as the case may be!
Regards,
Andrew
