Photographer’s Note
This was taken on the same trek as previous post. We came upon several small villages and have an opportunity to see how the local live up on the remote Andes Mountains. This girl is so adorable, like a little doll dress up in traditional Quechuan outfits. I just want to take her home with me. Since I couldn’t at least I got a picture of her.

hello Way
Lovely isnt she? A different style and culture apart but simply a great universal expression - the smile.
Nice portrait, crop to exact foot at bottom. Phew! Almost lost her toe. I would probably just crop out the dress at the right, but that is just my taste without spoiling your good shot.

Hello Way,
A lovely capture. The title is perfectly appropriated to this cute little girl.
Her smile is sooo sweet!
I think I would have tried another approach by cropping the part on the right with the other dress, and perhaps gettting a closer view by cutting the down part (and then you would avoid the feet against the frame). It would also put the little girl on the right and no more in the center.
Just another idea ;-)
This is a very good portrait!

Hi Way
These Quechan dolls are very photogenic, with the clothes they wear being so colourful. However what I like about this shot is that you have kept this quite muted. A lot of people including myself would have been tempted to smash the brightness up and saturated to show this so much more of the colours. This looks very natural, I had the honour to visit a small Quechan village a couple of miles outside Cusco and was astounded by the peoples warmness considering their poverty, very proud people and I loved them for their kindness. The kids are adorable like you say.
Cheers

Hello Way,
A very fine portrait and an excellent scan. I would probably have cropped the right side, otherwise a great job.

helo Way
I completly agree with you, this little girl is so lovely that I can understand you would like to take her home with you!It the same for me during my trips, sometimes I fall in love with the kids, and it's difficult to leave them!
I love the clothes, the smile, the sweet expression of this little girl, yes, she is like a doll!Just one thing, maybe it could be possible to remove the dress on the right by PP,without changing the frame,to make this photo perfect!

Hi Way!
This is such a delightful portrait of a little girl! And so original in the way that she is wearing her everyday clothes rather than festival-reserved dress! I like the way you have cropped the photo, to centre on the child, but kept part of her mother, which shows that she too is dressed in the same way.
Thanks for sharing.
MarieLouise.
