Photographer’s Note

Now, the annual secondhand book fair is being held in the wooded garden of Shimogamo Shrine, Kyoto. There 36 secondhand bookstores from Kyoto, Nara and Okayama are setting up each booths and selling various books for 6 days.

Today's harvest:
"Taisho Tenno":A critical biography of Emperor Taisho.
"Teri Mukuri":A book about the curved design in traditional Japanese architecture.

An interesting photo and note as well! This must be a wonderful atmosphere, buying books between these trees, a special experience. Really a not everyday scenery ...
