Photographer’s Note
The town of Ormylia (Ορμύλια) is located at a 90 km distance from Thessaloniki south of Polygyros. Ormylia is the capital of the region of Ormylia and is home to about 3,500 permanent residents. The area surrounding the town is one of the most fertile areas in Halkidiki. Ormylia was built at the location of the ancient city of Sermyli. Today Ormylia is a very picturesque town. With its narrow streets and traditional architecture it has all the characteristics of the old settlements in Halkidiki.
The windmill is one of the most prominent landmarks in the area. It is found just outside the town on a small hill overlooking the town and the surrounding area. It was built in the 19th century and used to belong to the monastery Doheariou.

Great Composition with the windmill set to the side of the image. I enjoy the actual spokes of the wheel against the sky and cloud pattern.
Very enjoyable to view.
Best Wishes,

hello natasha
fine, punchy colors in this charmer. who doesn't love a windmill? :)) the way you have composed the frame, the windmill appears to be sucking the clouds in. i like that.

Perfeclty composed picture!
Saturated colours and fine details, indeed! The wide angle created an impressive result and made the clouds swim into the sea of the sky!
Thanks for letting us admire your image.
Best wishes,
Athanasios.
