Photographer’s Note

I took this picture a little later than my previous post. Now the sun has set over Manhattan, and the city has turned into a sea of little stars. In the distance, you can see Brooklyn (on the left) and Jersey City (on the right).

Hi Oliver,
I like night/evening scenes in general,..
your photo reminded me of a night city which you see below while you're on the plane decending over the sleeping city.. or when the plane is taking off. Very interesting panoramic image. Nice colours. And the cloudy sky looks grand. A sea of stars, indeed!

Very nice evening shot of NYC. The dark clouds provide nice contrast to the millions of lights of the city. Your composition and POV are outstanding giving us a great shot.
