Photographer’s Note
Well, I'm back here again from my periodical tour. This time I had broken my own record - 5 european countries in one trip. That was fatiguing but great!
This architectural construction doesn't need any comments:)
In the sunset it looks even more impressive. Actually, this picture was one of the last made in Belgium, but I decided to show it first.

Hi Katia,
The light wasn't the best for this shot but the structure is very impressive. The angle is good to capture the full shape of this icon. Good details and colours are seen in the image. Nice work Katia.

Hi Katia. 5 countries in one trip is a little hard to imagine from our little island on the other side of the world, maybe one day I’ll do the same ;-). Nice photo. Strong symmetry and good sharpness. Your POV shows the size well, other photos I have seen make this look smaller. Thanks for sharing.
Have a good weekend, Paul.

Hi Katia,
A nice central and frontal POV on the Atomium, with the road on the side adding context..From this place, it looks real high... The low light actually gave an interesting atmosphere....

Privet Katia,
Welcome back I hope you had a good time in Belgium... 5 countries ? Belgium, probably Netherlands and France, possibly Germany, Luxembourg, UK ?
This structure is to Brussels what the Eiffel tower is to Paris, and it was built for the exact same reason, the conditions were quite dark and with the wet road it seems like a novmeber day under the legendary Belgian sky, there it is quite essential to have the car with the headlights showing the wet road.
Have a nice day JY

Привет,Катя,
А я уж стал забывать твой ник. Некоторые отсюда уходят и больше не появляются :)))
Я был в таком турнэ аж 9 лет назад! И от Брюсселя обалдел!
Всех благ и удачи!

Hola Katia.
5 European countries in one trip is really great. I imaging that you will have hundreds of photos to show us, that's good.
Certainly you didn't have the right weather conditions when you got your wonderful shot, despite a rainy evening you got a nice view of the impressive structure and the well seen car lights reflected on the pavement. Very good shot.
Well done.
Cheers.

Hi Katia,
challenging light conditions for the Atomium with only one car bringing some brightness, but well managed with the contrast against the sky. Maybe a bit to centred here, but I do not know the exact conditions.

Hi Katia
Nice view of the Atomium in the sunset. I like the this perspective and the cars with the lights. I like the contrast between the grey tones and the reflections of the cars light

Hi, Katia. One of the landmarks of Brussels and of Belgium. As I see, you got typical Belgian weather ;o). There are some god lines leading towards the Atomium, which creates a good perspective. The light conditions were not that good, so you had to do with them.
Have a nice evening,
Philippe

Katia,
This is a nice night shot of this interesting structure. The centered placement of the atomium works well here with the off center road leading the eye through the shot. The lighting was not very good but you managed to get a nice shot anyway.

Asa

Bonsoir,

Hi Katia!
Beautiful capture of this famous architectonic structure, it's so diferent that the others I have seen from the same place, probably due to the weather conditions! Excellent framing and composition, perfect light managment! Congratulations!
