Photographer’s Note
I asked my moto driver if he could take me where he lived out in the countryside. On the way there, I saw this mother and son step of the roadside, and into the fields. I could already visualise the image, so I ushered my driver to stop, and went back to the site to get this shot. One click and that was it. This was taken just after the monsoon rains in the afternoon.

Hi Bruce,
an amazing, beautiful photo you are showing as here. The composition is excellent, the colours are perfectly balanced and the POV is unique also with a scenary of the clouds and animals in the back.
Congratulations for this photo, it is really something.
Best,

Hello Bruce.
I agree with DT, this photo has a lot going for it, especially the point of view. I particularly like the fact that the woman is turning her head at the moment of capture. My only reservation with this is the somewhat strange lighting and an oversaturation of the colours, but a lot of people will like that. Compositionally, I think it's wonderful.

Andrew

ciao Bruce,
nice reportage shot.
We can notice this shot has been taken after rains...since colours are bright and vivid - sky is still dramatic.
POV and depth are ok...and we get a striking image of dayly life hardness of these people

Hi Bruce
Great shot of daily life. the position of the mother and son is great even though oportunistic and I like teh saturated colours. Its a pity is not a landscape shot with more field to teh left, that would have been awesome, but this is still quite a good composition.

Hi Bruce,
This captures Cambodian rural life very well. Nice light and colours and the water/canal leads your eye to the clouds in the background. Well done.

Hi Bruce,
The colours in this picture are striking and the contrasts beautiful. Love the composition too! The rice fields always offer great photo opportunities, and you took full advantage here!
Stunning picture!
